Menceritakan Kota Kelahiran dalam Bahasa Inggris (Describing Hometown)
Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi wabarokatuh
Good morning everybody, my name is Lukman Hakim, you can call me Lukman, I was born in Sumenep so, I am eighteen yearsold. Today I would like to describe my hometown that’s Sumenep.
My hometown is Sumenep. I live there with my family. Sumenep has tourist locations, it’s like Gili Labak, Sembilan beach, Kasoghi beach and a lot of interesting place others. Sumenep is different with other countries in Madura like Bangkalan, Sampang and Pamekasan. Because Sumenep has a lot of island too that not other country own as if Kambing Island, Kangean Island and Sapeken Island.
Besid that, there is a place that attract attention public that is Masjid Jamik Sumenep wich in central city, in front of flower garden Sumenep. Here, people has many different jobs, there are farmer, manufacturer of Gudang Garam or others, fhiserman, bank clerk, teacher, and lecturer.
A majority of public religion in Sumenep is Islam. We can see that lot of Islamic boarding schools. The famous Islamic Boarding School here is al-Amien Parenduan and Ponpes Annuqoyyah Ghuluk-Ghuluk. Beside it, there are much majlis dzkir like muslimatan and study obout “Kitab Kuning” in Mosque. And surely there are lot of religion communities like Nu, Muhammadiyah, LDII, Mokestren, GMNU, Shofwah Malikiyah, Forsil Tamam and others.
Other famous place is palace Sumenep or it’s famous with “Karaton Pajagalan”. It’s the legacy of kings of ancient times. Founder of Karaton Songenep are Gusti Raden Ayu Tirtonegoro R. Rasmana and Kanjeng Tumenggung Ario Tirtonegoro (Bindara Saod).
